I received two calls yesterday from a friend of mine that used to live in the dorms where I was an RA, and I finally returned her call tonight. She is getting married in August and was telling me about the wedding. Evidently her pastor is out of town and she needs someone to perform the ceremony. She asked me to do it.
I can just get online licensure; vows and all.
I'm kind of in shock. I've never had anyone ask me to do anything like that.

As long as they receive marraige counseling from their pastor, I don't see the issue with someone else doing the ceremony.
The only thing is, I don't want to do get involved with an oddball organization to get ordained. It's crazy, some of the groups that are out there.
